Treatment Coordinator (Full-Time 32-40 Hours/Week)
Pay Range: $17.00 – $28.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday - Thursday – Enjoy a 3-day weekend!
The Mission
We are looking for a master organizer to take the lead on our clinical schedule. As our Treatment Coordinator, you aren't just booking appointments—you are managing the flow of the entire practice. Your goal is to ensure that the doctor’s time is used efficiently and that every patient has a clear path from diagnosis to their next appointment.
What You’ll Do:
- Strategic Scheduling: Manage the doctor’s columns to maximize production and minimize downtime. You’ll be responsible for scheduling complex cases, ensuring proper room turnover, and balancing the daily workflow.
- Treatment Mapping: Translate clinical treatment plans into scheduled appointments. You’ll ensure patients understand the "next steps" and get them on the calendar before they leave the office.
- Insurance Coordination: Use online portals to verify coverage and provide patients with accurate out-of-pocket estimates.
- Pipeline Management: Monitor pending treatments and reach out to patients to get their care back on the schedule.
- Administrative Support: Utilize Curve Hero to maintain precise records and documentation.
Pre-Requisites:
- 1 year working in the Medical or Dental field.
- High School Degree
The Ideal Candidate:
- Understands Dental Operations and Scheduling : You have a solid understanding of dental procedures and how much time they actually take in the chair. You enjoy the "puzzle" of a busy dental calendar and know how to pivot when the schedule changes.
- Comfortable using modern digital technology: You are comfortable using Provider Benefit Tracker and other digital tools to streamline the check-out process.
- Detail-Oriented: You take pride in "clean" data entry and ensuring all insurance authorizations are in place before the patient arrives.
