Night Security Officers help create a safe, welcoming environment for our guests, employees, and property during overnight hours. This role combines security patrols, guest assistance , emergency response, incident reporting, and light facilities support while working independently across the resort. This position will include 3 12-hour shifts per week.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES includ ing the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Conducts patrols and periodic inspections of areas including lodging rooms, parking lots, mechanical rooms, lifts, pool area, base area retail outlets, and other common areas .
Reports more serious problems to maintenance staff via telephone, email, verbally . More serious problems are defined as power outages, water leaks, propane gas odors, fire, frozen pipes, etc.

Due to the nature of the recreation industry, we are in operation seven days a week. This includes weekends and holidays and there is no guarantee of hours. Flexible working hours may be required based on the business levels.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Valid driver’s license is required .

Preferred qualifications:
Security, law enforcement, military, hospitality, or customer service experience
Ability to add, subtract , multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Able to accurately read and make measurements.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence . Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization . Excellent verbal communication skills.
Ability to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or verbal instructions . Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
