Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, ensuring quality and consistency
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions accurately
- Engage with customers in a friendly manner, providing excellent customer service and beverage recommendations
- Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food handling stations, equipment, and seating areas, adhering to food safety standards
- Handle cash transactions efficiently while processing payments with accuracy using POS systems
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including basic food handling and beverage assembly
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service and customer satisfaction
Experience
- Previous barista experience or food service experience is required; training will be provided for the right candidates
- Familiarity with café operations, beverage service, and food industry standards is advantageous
- Strong math skills for retail math, cash handling, and transaction processing
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Basic knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus but not mandatory; training will be available

Pay: $13.75 - $15.00 per hour
