Summary
Nisi is seeking a skilled and motivated Line Cook to join our kitchen team. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their craft, works well in a fast-paced environment, and values consistency, teamwork, and quality.
As a Line Cook, you’ll be responsible for preparing and executing menu items to restaurant standards while supporting the Executive Chef and Sous Chef in daily kitchen operations. You’ll play an important role in delivering an exceptional dining experience and contributing to the overall success of the restaurant.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
- Prepare ingredients for service, including chopping, prepping, and sauce work
- Cook menu items in coordination with the kitchen team
- Follow instructions from the Executive Chef, Sous Chef, and management
- Ensure dishes are prepared accurately, consistently, and in a timely manner
- Maintain clean and organized workstations and properly handle leftover food
- Assist with inventory stocking and rotation
- Comply with all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations
- Maintain a positive, professional attitude with coworkers and guests
Requirements:
- Proven cooking experience as a Line Cook, Prep Cook, or Restaurant Cook
- Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Ability to work efficiently with accuracy and attention to detail
- Familiarity with industry best practices and kitchen safety standards
- Pride in your work, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
- Positive, business-minded attitude and strong work ethic
