About the Role
A premier manufacturer specializing in high-precision metal components for highly regulated industries, including aerospace, defense, and medical sectors, is seeking an analytical Process Engineer to lead the optimization, stabilization, and enhancement of production lines. Key Responsibilities
The Process Engineer evaluates existing manufacturing workflows to eliminate waste, resolve bottlenecks, and increase overall productivity. This includes troubleshooting complex production issues related to machinery and process flows, partnering closely with maintenance teams to minimize downtime. The role involves leading process improvement projects from initial concept through execution, as well as designing or modifying workflows to enhance capabilities and meet stringent customer specifications. Additionally, the engineer interprets production data to track performance metrics, collaborates with Quality Control to align processes with industry standards, and ensures full compliance with safety regulations by developing standard operating procedures and training staff.
Qualifications & Benefits
To qualify, candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, or a related field, alongside 3+ years of process engineering experience, preferably within a metal manufacturing, casting, or foundry environment. Proficiency in engineering tools such as AutoCAD or MATLAB is required, along with a strong understanding of process control, root cause analysis, and lean manufacturing methodologies. Excellent problem-solving abilities and cross-functional communication skills are essential for success.
