JOB DESCRIPTION: Clinical Research Coordinator, MA
REPORTS TO: Site Administrator
DEFINITION OF POSITION:
The Clinical Research Coordinator supports the successful execution of clinical trials by coordinating study activities, guiding patients through the research process, and ensuring compliance with study protocols, regulatory requirements, and organizational standards. This role serves as a key liaison among patients, investigators, physicians, providers, sponsors, monitors, and internal clinical teams to ensure safe, accurate, and efficient trial operations. The position is especially well-suited for someone who thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment, values precision, and is passionate about improving patient outcomes through research.

Adequate lighting should be maintained, and workstations will be equipped for ergonomic safety. Staff are encouraged to wear nonskid footwear, remove, or eliminate all clutter, cabinet doors should remain closed, spills will be wiped up immediately, cables will be kept out of traffic flow areas.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Essential knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to succeed
- Registered Medical Assistant, Certified Medical Assistant, or Certified Clinic Medical Assistant
- Maintains Basic Life Support certification.
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- One Year of Phlebotomy experience
- Two or more years of clinical research experience (Preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree (Preferred)
- Multi-lingual (Preferred)
