We are seeking compassionate, dependable, and skilled ventilator-trained nurses to provide high-quality care to patients who require advanced respiratory support. This role is ideal for nurses who are confident with ventilator-dependent patients, tracheostomy care, respiratory monitoring, and individualized patient-centered nursing support.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to ventilator-dependent patients in accordance with the care plan and clinical standards.
- Monitor respiratory status, oxygenation, vital signs, and overall patient condition.
- Perform tracheostomy care, suctioning, airway management support, and related nursing interventions as required.
- Recognize and respond promptly to changes in patient condition, including respiratory distress or equipment concerns.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered and document care accurately.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, respiratory therapists, and the care team.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive care environment.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Driver’s License /State ID
- 2nd form of ID, such as a Social Security Card, Birth Certificate, or Passport
- Resume with medical experience listed
- CPR card
- Current auto insurance policy
- Current state of Florida Nursing license * LPN/RN *
- The folllowing CEUS: HIV/AIDS, Domestic Violence, Medical Errors.

- Ability to pass an AHCA Level 2 background ( we pull in the system ) https://info.flclearinghouse.com
- Ability to pass an additional background screening

***BrightStar Care of Pinellas County would like to reward YOU with a $3,000 bonus for coming on board as a full-time nurse!
$1,500 paid out in 6 months, and the remainder $1,500 in 1 year.
*Please note that if you do not meet the requirements at 6 months, you are disqualified for eligibility at 12 months.
This bonus will be paid out to you after you have successfully completed 180 days of continuous employment and the following requirements:
