Responsibilities
- Interpret and execute construction plans, blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings with precision.
- Perform residential carpentry tasks including deck building, interior framing, trim carpentry, door hanging, cabinet installation, and flooring installation.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools for woodworking, metal stud framing, fixture installation, and siding.
- Conduct concrete forming, masonry work, plastering, stucco application, roofing, and water damage restoration as needed.
- Operate woodworking machines and CNC equipment for fabrication and assembly of custom woodwork pieces.
- Ensure power tool safety protocols are followed during all operations while handling heavy lifting tasks safely.
- Complete restoration projects including mold remediation, rebar installation, caulking, and siding repairs with attention to detail.
- Read and interpret construction plans accurately to guide project execution on-site.
- Collaborate with team members on remodeling projects involving electrical work, plumbing, tile laying, electrical experience, and fixture installation.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to all safety standards on the construction site.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction estimating, blueprint reading, residential carpentry, and general construction site work.
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools for woodworking, metal stud framing tools, CNC machinery, and woodworking machines.
- Strong knowledge of wood construction materials including framing lumber, plywood, siding materials, and finishing products.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings such as schematics and schematics related to electrical or plumbing systems.
- Experience with concrete forming, plastering techniques including stucco application; familiarity with rebar installation is a plus.
- Knowledge of construction safety protocols including power tool safety practices and heavy lifting procedures.
- Familiarity with restoration industry standards including mold remediation and water damage restoration processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt quickly to changing project requirements.
- Valid experience in remodeling projects involving flooring installation, tile laying, cabinetry work or door hanging is preferred.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients alike.
