We're hiring at our new Kan Sushi location in Austin, Texas! Kan Sushi is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Sushi Chef/Prep to join our team. This role is responsible for preparing high-quality sushi and related dishes, ensuring freshness, presentation, and food safety standards. The ideal candidate will have strong knife skills, knowledge of sushi preparation techniques, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Sushi Chef, Prep Cook, or in a similar kitchen role (preferred).
- Strong knife skills and knowledge of sushi preparation techniques.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Team player with a positive attitude.
