Seven One Seven Parking Services is currently seeking to fill a few unarmed Security Officers position to monitor and enforce parking in our parking lots in the Ybor City area.
Security Guard Duties and Responsibilities:
- Be Visible at all times and in 717 assigned Uniform
- Attract potential customers to park in the parking lot by using a flag or flashlight baton
- Monitor the cars that enter and exit the parking lot
- Assist customers with payment using one of the pay machines, QR code or 717 app. No cash receipts or collections allowed
- Redirect cars to other 717 parking lots once a parking lot is full
- Report any maintenance or lightning issues
- Report any pay machine or app issues
- Answer questions from patrons
- Work with 717 Management and personnel on Duty to assist in enforcement of the parking lots
- Provide wayfinding and must be visible in parking lot at all times (cannot sit in car)
- Must be a Licensed Security Guard and always carry their badge or certification
- Must be comfortable with working in outdoor and diverse weather conditions
- If a Security Guard notices any crime in the parking lot, they must call 911 immediately for assistance.
- Work directly with 717 management staff to advise on any concerns of the parking operation including any unpaid or unruly customers
- Team of Security Guards will meet at a central 717 parking location each night and be directed by 717 management staff the assigned location
- Provide One Security Guard management team leader per shift to manage the responsibility and staffing of the other Security Guards
Security Guard Requirements and Qualifications:
- MUST have Class "D" or “B” Private Security Agency License
- High school diploma or GED certificate (preferred)
- Ability to work nights and weekends
- Patience for dealing with busy crowds
- 21 years old or older
- Licensed Security Guard under Florida Statues
Thursday-Saturday, 9p-4a, unarmed. $20.00 per hr
