Job Title: Adolescent Treatment Specialist
Department: Focus House (Rochelle, IL)
Reports To: Focus House Leadership
Wages: $15-$17/hour depending on degree and experience
Status: Part Time 2nd3rd Shifts
Ogle County is seeking applicants for the part-time, 2nd and 3rd Shift, position of Adolescent Treatment Specialist at Focus House. Focus House is a leading provider of mental health services dedicated to supporting the well-being of adolescents. Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years of age

A citizen of the Unites States

A resident of the State of Illinois within 90 days of the date of employment

Be in good physical health

Have no criminal history or convictions and must pass a Urine Screen, TB Test, and Background Check.

Possess a valid Illinois Driver's License

Must possess at least a High School Diploma or GED. (Associates and/or Bachelors level degrees are encouraged)
Duties Include, but are not limited to:

Provide direct supervision and guidance to youth placed in the facility.

Supervise and model appropriate daily living skills within the residence.

Thoroughly document all interactions, behaviors, and unusual incidents.

May be required to work additional hours to cover staffing shortages.

Attend all staff meetings, team meetings, and in-service meetings. as assigned by the Residential Supervisor or his/her designee.

Pass medications to the residents, as needed.

Pass a required training including, but not limited to, CPR, CPI, First Aid, and Food Handling.

Assist in crisis management and engage in processing behaviors with youth following crisis situations

Utilize evidenced-based behavioral interventions

Demonstrate accountability, integrity, and professionalism in all aspects of the position, and within the community.

Conduct routine bed checks, document youth sleep patterns, security checks, and building checks.

Perform all other duties as assigned by the House Manager, Residential Supervisor, or Director of Focus House
