Irrigation Technician – Shelby County
Poston Irrigation is hiring experienced technicians with 3 years verifiable work history in the Irrigation or Plumbing industry. We offer some of the best pay in the irrigation industry for quality technicians who are dependable, experienced, and take pride in their work.
We are a local company serving customers throughout Shelby County and are looking for someone who is dependable, knowledgeable, and committed to quality work.
This position is for an experienced technician who can diagnose irrigation issues, make repairs, perform startups, service systems, and work with customers in a professional manner.
We have year-round work available, with the opportunity to cross-train with our plumbing company for the right person.
Pay: $33/hour

Requirements — not negotiable:
- Valid driver’s license
- Current backflow certification
- Minimum 3 years of irrigation or plumbing experience
- Must be dependable and on time
- Must show up ready to work
- Must be able to communicate professionally with customers and team members
- Must be able to work outdoors and handle the physical demands of the job
We are looking for someone who already has irrigation experience and can be trusted to represent our company well. Reliability is extremely important. If you do not have a valid driver’s license, backflow certification, and at least 3 years of irrigation experience, please do not apply.
