We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Welder/Fabricator to join our dynamic manufacturing team.
Duties
- Interpret mechanical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately fabricate metal components.
- Perform welding using various techniques.
- Measure and mark materials precisely using calipers, micrometers, measuring instruments, and shop math to ensure proper fit and alignment.
- Assemble fabricated parts utilizing hand tools, power tools, rigging equipment, and schematics to complete projects efficiently.
- Conduct quality inspections on completed work to verify dimensions, weld integrity, and compliance with ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineers) codes & standards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working in a fabrication shop environment with metal materials.
- Skilled in blueprint reading, interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and mechanical blueprints.
- Proficiency in welding techniques including MIG, TIG, FCAW, SMAW, and gas metal arc welding.
- Ability to use measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers accurately for precise fabrication.
- Experience with ASME codes & standards for manufacturing or mechanical fabrication is a plus.
- Strong shop math skills along with basic math proficiency necessary for accurate measurements and calculations.

Pay: $20.00 - $30.15 per hour
