Job Summary:
We are seeking a line cook to join our team with the flexibility of doing other tasks in retail and customer service. In this position, you will be responsible for assisting with food preparation, working effectively with other team members, providing great customer service to guests, and maintaining food safety regulations and cleanliness. No experience is required with the right person who has a great attitude and work ethic. We are a bar & restaurant as well as having a full takeout menu and retail store. Responsibilities:
- Assist with food preparation and cooking under the guidance of the kitchen manager or supervisor.
- Follow recipes and portion sizes to ensure consistency in food quality.
- Be able to run the front by helping guests, taking food orders, and effectively using a POS system.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area
- Ensure proper food handling and storage procedures are followed
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service and efficient workflow
- Assist with stock rotation.
Skills:
- Previous restaurant experience or in a similar role is preferred but not required.
- Strong work ethic with a great attitude.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Ability to work well in a team environment
