Summary: Serves as a collaborative instructional leader who promotes literacy, provides informatino technology leadership, and manages the school library program. The goal is to ensure that students and staff are effective users of ideas and information, empowering them to be critical thinkers, enthusiastic readers, and ethical digital citizens aligned with the Iowa Core Standards.

Required Iowa BOEE Licensure: Must hold the following endorsement(s):

108: K-8 elementary School Teacher Librarian, and

109: Secondary School Teacher Librarian; or

174: K-12 School Teacher Librarian (preferred)
