Seeking a part-time Director of Faith Formation to oversee and offer spiritual studies at North Parish. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and experienced with the ability to motivate and engage others. This person will create an environment that students, parents, guardians, and volunteers enjoy and look forward to.
In conjunction with the Christian Education Committee, the successful candidate will:
Plan and oversee North Parish Sunday morning spiritual education program for children. Recruit, resource, and train volunteers. Communicate weekly with the North Parish community as appropriate. Collaborate with groups and organizations outside the church as appropriate. Establish ongoing contact with families. Offer the Message for All Ages during worship. Establish and attend regular meetings of Christian Education Committee.
Qualifications:
Experience teaching children. Ability to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders. Experience with church preferred. Appreciation of UCC values preferred. North Parish Church is an Open and Affirming member of the United Church of Christ.
Pay: From $9,567.00 per year
