Bolted Box – Indianapolis, IN
Full-Time or Part-Time | $22 – $25 per hour
Bolted Box is hiring a Class A CDL driver for local and in-state conex container deliveries and pickups. You'll run a 2025 or newer one-ton dually pickup with a 40' tilt-back recovery-style trailer, loading and positioning conex boxes and ground-level office units at customer job sites.
The role is open as full-time or part-time. It can also start part-time and grow into full-time as our volume increases, so it fits whether you want steady side work now or a full schedule today or down the road.
Towing and recovery experience is preferred. Over-the-road driving experience by itself is not a fit here. We need someone who has run a tilt-bed or wrecker, winched and positioned loads, and knows how to set a conex down in a tight spot without damaging the box or the customer's site.
Run deliveries and pickups all over Indiana, with a good share of the work staying within the Indianapolis metro. You're home every night, and there are no nights away, no weekends, and no on-call rotation.
Pay & Schedule
- $22 – $25 per hour, based on experience

Driving & Loading (about 90%)
- Deliver and pick up conex storage boxes and office containers
- Operate a pickup truck and 40' tilt-back trailer
- Winch, load, unload, and position conex boxes at customer sites
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Secure loads and follow DOT safety standards
- Represent Bolted Box professionally on customer job sites
Light Fleet Maintenance (about 10%)
- Install placards, decals, and company branding
- Replace or install door locks on conex boxes
- Use basic hand tools like drills and screwdrivers
- Perform light equipment and trailer checks
- Help keep the yard organized
No heavy mechanical repair work required.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL (auto-only / non-semi endorsement is acceptable)
- Hands-on towing, recovery, and equipment loading experience (OTR-only experience will not qualify)
- Current DOT medical card
- Ability to pass a drug screen
- Safe driving record
- Comfortable operating trailers and winching loads
- Basic hand tool familiarity
Conex or shipping container handling experience is a plus, but we'll train the right person on the boxes if the towing and recovery background is there.
