For more than 50 years, Packard Cabinetry has been creating extraordinary kitchens, baths, libraries, bars, and custom interiors for discerning homeowners throughout the New York metropolitan area.
We are seeking an experienced Kitchen & Bath Designer with youthfull enthusiasm to grow our business to join our Sea Cliff showroom. This opportunity is available on either a full-time or part-time basis for the right candidate.
This is an excellent opportunity for a designer who values great design, exceptional craftsmanship, and meaningful client relationships over high-volume sales.
About Us
Packard Cabinetry represents some of the finest cabinetry available, including Rutt HandCrafted Cabinetry, Grabill Cabinet Company, Mouser Custom Cabinetry, and select boutique custom cabinetmakers. Our projects are highly customized and often involve collaboration with architects, builders, and interior designers on exceptional residential homes.
Responsibilities
- Design kitchens, baths, libraries, bars, and custom cabinetry projects
- Meet with homeowners, architects, builders, and interior designers
- Present creative design solutions and proposals
- Guide projects from concept through installation
- Coordinate cabinetry ordering and project details
- Build long-term client relationships that generate referrals and repeat business
Qualifications
- Kitchen and bath design experience required
- Proficiency with 2020 Design, CAD, or equivalent design software
- Strong presentation, communication, and sales skills
- Experience with cabinetry ordering and project management
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational ability
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- A strong sense of design, proportion, scale, and architectural detail
