Light Industrial – Warehouse Associate
Employment Type: Full-Time, 3 months contract
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM

About the Position
Our client is seeking a dependable and safety-conscious Warehouse Associate to support warehouse and outdoor pipe-yard operations. This is a physically active role involving order fulfillment, material handling, inventory, forklift operation, and loading and unloading shipments.
Most duties will be performed outdoors or inside the warehouse. The manager may conduct an interview or extend an offer based on the candidate’s resume and qualifications.
Responsibilities
- Pull and prepare customer orders for shipment.
- Read and follow order sheets accurately.
- Palletize, wrap, stage, and stock materials.
- Operate a sit-down forklift safely.
- Load flatbed trailers and unload LTL shipments.
- Receive, verify, and put away incoming materials.
- Assist with inventory counts and material organization.
- Maintain a clean, organized, secure, and safe work area.
- Support other warehouse and pipe-yard functions as needed.
Depending on business needs, duties may align with positions such as Pipe Yard Associate, Receiving Associate, Receiving Clerk, Returns Associate, or Warehouse Floater.
Required Qualifications
- At least six months of recent warehouse experience.
- At least six months of sit-down forklift experience.
- Ability to read and understand order sheets.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to bend, twist, pull, and stand throughout the full shift.
- Willingness to work both outdoors and inside a warehouse.
- Ability to perform physical work safely and consistently.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with shipping, receiving, inventory, delivery, or general warehouse operations.
- Experience loading or unloading flatbed trailers and LTL shipments.
- Knowledge of warehouse or industrial products.
- Ability to quickly learn new products, procedures, and equipment.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements
- Majority of work is performed outdoors and in a warehouse environment.
- Regular lifting of materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Frequent standing, bending, twisting, pulling, and material handling.
- Regular forklift operation and movement of industrial materials.
- Employees must follow all warehouse and equipment safety procedures.
Pay: $19.00 per hour
