Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and quality standards, ensuring consistency and presentation excellence
- Operate and maintain kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, slicers, and food prep tools safely and efficiently
- Assist in food preparation tasks including chopping, slicing, braising, poaching, grilling, and food production to support high-volume service
- Follow food safety sanitizing procedures rigorously to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment
- Collaborate with team members on menu planning ideas and daily specials to enhance customer satisfaction
- Adhere strictly to recipe specifications and portion control guidelines for meal preparation
- Support the culinary team in catering events or special functions as needed
Requirements
- Previous experience in food handling, food service, or restaurant environments is highly preferred
- Strong knife skills and proficiency in cooking techniques such as braising, grilling, poaching, and meal preparation
- Knowledge of food safety management practices and sanitizing procedures in high-volume production settings
- Experience with dietary department standards or dietary aide roles is a plus
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently under pressure
- Culinary experience in fine dining or high-volume kitchens is advantageous
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards fast-paced work environments
