This position is not slated for a CFY so applicants must be a fully licensed, "stand-alone" SLP.
What you need for this position:
- Previous medical experience specializing in diagnosis and treatment of speech and language problems
- Speech Language Pathology Degree
- Illinois SLP license or ability to obtain a Illinois SLP license is required
Our ideal candidate will have:
- A Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral Degree in Speech Language Pathology
- The required state licensure, certification, and registration that is in good standing with the state or the ability to obtain the required state licensure
- CPR/AED/BLS (basic life support) certification or the ability to obtain it prior to start of employment; maintain and provide proof of current certification(s)
- The ability to stand, walk, and sit throughout entire assigned shift
- A high degree of professionalism in both written and verbal communication
- The ability to work both independently and in a team environment, without constant supervision
- Be able to maintain confidentiality
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency with databases and with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
