Job Title: Nursing Assistant
Overview:
Poppy’s Place is a Senior Daytime Care Facility. Basically a daycare but for seniors! We are a social based facility so the caregiver position is a dream position! For the most part, it’s just socializing and playing games with our elderly clients. We are seeking a dedicated CNA or caregiver to join our team. As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care and ensuring a comfortable and safe environment for all individuals under your supervision.
Responsibilities:
- assist clients with toileting or other personal hygiene care.
- assist clients with other ADLs as needed such as assistance eating.
- participate in daily activities alongside our activity coordinator.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; certification as a Nursing Assistant is a plus.
- Proven experience working in a healthcare environment, preferably experience with elderly.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, procedures, and equipment used in patient care.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated compassion, empathy, and professionalism when interacting with patients of diverse backgrounds.
