Job Overview
TXR Architects + Constructors is seeking an experienced Lead Carpenter / Superintendent to oversee and participate in the construction of premium custom residential projects throughout the Lake Ozark area.
This is a hands-on leadership role for a construction professional who takes pride in craftsmanship, understands how to manage subcontractors and schedules, and can ensure projects are completed to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable leading from the front, solving field challenges, communicating with homeowners, and stepping in to perform skilled carpentry work when needed.
The Opportunity
As a Lead Carpenter / Superintendent, you will play a critical role in bringing custom luxury homes to life. You will coordinate daily jobsite operations, maintain project schedules, oversee subcontractors, perform skilled carpentry work, and ensure every project meets TXR's commitment to quality craftsmanship.

Key Responsibilities

Lead daily field operations on custom residential construction projects
- Perform and oversee rough and finish carpentry work
- Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and material deliveries
- Review plans and specifications to ensure accurate project execution
- Maintain project schedules and communicate progress to management
- Conduct quality control inspections throughout each phase of construction
- Ensure all work meets company standards, building codes, and safety requirements
- Solve field challenges and proactively address project issues
- Communicate professionally with homeowners, architects, designers, and trade partners
- Maintain organized jobsite documentation, punch lists, and project records
- Train and mentor team members while promoting a positive jobsite culture
Required Qualifications

5+ years of residential construction experience
- Strong carpentry background with experience in custom home construction
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings
- Experience coordinating subcontractors and managing jobsite activities
- Strong understanding of residential construction methods and building practices
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Preferred Qualifications

7+ years of experience in luxury residential construction
- Previous experience as a Lead Carpenter, Superintendent, or Construction Foreman
- Experience working directly with homeowners and design professionals
- Knowledge of project scheduling and budgeting
- OSHA certification is a plus
