We are seeking motivated, skilled technicians with a minimum of 2 years of HVAC experience who can independently diagnose, repair, maintain, and install HVAC systems. Duties
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain residential and commercial HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, heat pumps, furnaces, boilers, and refrigeration equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance inspections to ensure system performance, efficiency, and reliability
- Install HVAC equipment, ductwork, thermostats, and related components according to manufacturer specifications and local codes
- Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, technical manuals, and HVAC design plans to identify and resolve system issues
- Perform electrical troubleshooting using meters and testing equipment
- Repair or replace defective components, including motors, capacitors, contactors, compressors, and control systems
- Service refrigeration systems and refrigerant circuits in accordance with EPA regulations
- Complete service reports, document repairs, and communicate findings and recommendations to customers
- Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment in a professional manner
- Follow all company safety procedures and industry best practices while working in the field
- Provide excellent customer service and represent the company professionally at all job sites
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience servicing, repairing, and maintaining HVAC systems
- Strong knowledge of air conditioning, heating, ventilation, refrigeration, and mechanical systems
- Ability to diagnose electrical and mechanical issues independently
- Experience reading schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation
- EPA Certification preferred (or ability to obtain shortly after hire)
- Experience with residential service, commercial service, or both preferred
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift equipment, work in confined spaces, climb ladders, and perform physical job duties as required
