Responsibilities
- Pull, route, and secure low voltage cables in commercial buildings.
- Install, terminate, label, and test structured cabling systems.
- Install and troubleshoot telecommunications systems.
- Install and service security systems, access control systems, and related low voltage devices.
- Read and follow project drawings and specifications.
- Troubleshoot cable and device issues efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and safe job site while following industry standards and safety protocols.
- Work collaboratively with team members to complete projects on schedule.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience installing low voltage cabling.
- Experience with structured cabling, telecommunications, security, and access control systems.
- Proficiency in cable termination, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Experience installing and configuring low voltage devices.
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work on ladders when required.
