Position: Caregiver
Location: Patients Over Profit Care Home – La Marque, Texas
Position Summary
Patients Over Profit Care Home is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and professional Weekend Live-In Caregiver to provide high-quality care and supervision to our residents. The caregiver will reside in the home during the scheduled shift and be responsible for ensuring residents receive safe, respectful, and attentive care while maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
● Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
● Provide medication assistance in accordance with physician orders and Texas regulations.
● Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks.
● Monitor residents for changes in physical, mental, or emotional condition and promptly report concerns.
● Maintain accurate documentation of care, medications, incidents, and daily activities.
● Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and maintain a clean, organized living environment.
● Assist residents with recreational and social activities.
● Respond appropriately to emergencies and contact management or emergency services when necessary.
● Ensure resident safety, dignity, and confidentiality at all times.
Qualifications
● High school diploma or GED preferred.
● Previous caregiving, assisted living, home health, or residential care experience preferred.
● Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
● Ability to pass a criminal background check.
● Reliable transportation.
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
● Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist residents with transfers when necessary.
Preferred Experience
● Experience caring for elderly adults, individuals with disabilities, veterans, memory care residents, or hospice residents.
● Medication administration or medication assistance experience.
