Pyramid, Inc., Florida’s most creative training center for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities is seeking a dynamic leader for a staff committed to assisting our students to lead exciting and productive lives.
Pyramid has provided adult day training services built around the visual and performing arts for more than 30 years. We need a Director who sees the potential of our students, who can excite staff while successfully supervising them, and who can effectively engage the support of our local community.
While this position does not require an artist, it does require a seasoned and energetic leader who can organize, direct and support arts and life-skills instructors. The best candidate will be skilled at obtaining outcomes in social services and possess a vision for integrating people with disabilities into that vision.
Primary Responsibilities:

Oversees the day-to-day activities of the program ensuring that it is managed efficiently and effectively to accomplish Pyramid’s mission.

Nurtures and maintain a positive and productive working environment.

Recruits students and staff to meet expectations.

Directs, controls, monitors the budgets to achieve financial objectives.

Ensures that there is an arts component present in the program and that we are connecting with the community through the arts.
Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree
-
4 years' experience with intellectual/developmental disabilities or closely related field

2 years' supervisory experience

Able to pass drug test

Valid Florida Driver's License with Safe Driving Record.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and flexible work hours are required.
