Preschool Teacher
Responsibilities:
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities that promote learning and development in various subjects, including math and physical education.
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children, ensuring their well-being and welfare.
- Foster social, emotional, and cognitive growth through positive interactions and guidance.
- Monitor and assess each child's progress, keeping records of their development.
- Collaborate with parents or guardians to provide updates on their child's progress and address any concerns or questions.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Engage children in educational play and interactive activities to enhance their learning experience.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with young children in a daycare or preschool setting.
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for working with young children.
- Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the individual needs of each child.
- CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
