Responsibilities
- Assess patient conditions through comprehensive physical examinations and vital signs monitoring, utilizing your physiology knowledge to inform care plans.
- Administer medications and injections accurately, including IV infusions and medication management for acute pain, sedation, or chronic conditions.
- Operate and troubleshoot advanced medical equipment such as ventilators, cardiac monitors, telemetry devices, and dialysis machines to ensure optimal patient safety.
- Document all patient interactions thoroughly using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems like Epic or Cerner, maintaining compliance with HIPAA standards.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients with complex needs such as trauma, infectious diseases, or post-operative recovery.
- Provide patient education on treatment procedures including ostomy care, tube feeding, or medication administration to promote understanding and compliance.
Pay: $2,000.00 - $2,328.00 per week
