General Equipment Specialist

Strategic Technology Institute, Inc. (STi) is seeking a General Equipment Specialist to support the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division (NSWCCD) in Bethesda, MD. This position will support Plant Property & Equipment (PP&E)/Asset Management, inventory accountability, material control, data analysis, and process improvement.
Responsibilities
- Support PP&E/Asset Management, material control, and inventory accountability activities.
- Assist with audits of NSWCCD OM&S, Purchase Requisition, and PP&E/Asset Management training.
- Analyze and document processes and identify areas for improvement.
- Perform root cause analysis and assist with technical risk assessments.
- Analyze operational data and develop recommendations.
- Prepare written reports, point papers, and oral presentations.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; OR High School Diploma/GED with 5+ years of prior military, DoD, or related PP&E/Asset Management experience.
- 5+ years of experience with PP&E/Asset Management, including property accountability, property value, equipment utilization, depreciation data, serial number tracking, and property management.
- Experience managing or leading a team in producing quality deliverables.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- U.S. Citizen.
- Must possess a favorably adjudicated Personnel Security Investigation (PSI) at the Tier 3 (T3) level.
Preferred Qualifications
- Working knowledge of PP&E/Asset Management policies and regulations, including FMR, FAR, and DoD Instruction 5000.64.
Pay: $30.00–$36.00 per hour
Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week
