Material Handler – Immediate Openings (6 Positions)
Location: Tualatin, OR
Pay: $18.00/hour
Schedule: Tuesday–Friday, 6:30 AM–5:00 PM

Job Summary
We are hiring 6 Material Handlers to start immediately. This position is responsible for handling lumber on the off-load side of a component saw, performing quality checks, stacking and preparing materials for shipment, and maintaining a clean and organized work area. This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy physical, hands-on work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Essential Responsibilities
- Receive cut lumber from the saw process.
- Perform quality inspections to ensure cutting accuracy.
- Safely stack lumber onto pallets, dunnage, or carts.
- Band and tag completed material for processing and shipment.
- Conduct continuous quality checks throughout the production process.
- Participate in daily stretch-and-flex exercises before beginning work.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Report equipment issues or product defects to the Saw Foreman.
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including:
- Close-toed work boots
- Safety glasses
- Ear plugs
- Rubber palm gloves
- Comply with OSHA regulations and workplace safety policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Saw Foreman.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Previous manufacturing, warehouse, or lumber handling experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to perform repetitive physical work, including lifting, stacking, and moving lumber.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality.
