Classic Promenade is a boutique classic and collector car dealership specializing in exceptional, enthusiast-grade vehicles. From pre-war luxury classics to rare, historically significant automobiles, every car we represent has a story, and our team is dedicated to presenting each vehicle with accuracy, transparency, and care.
This is not a typical office job. Our showroom is filled with some of the most interesting cars in the world including Rolls-Royce, Bentley, American muscle, race cars, coachbuilt classics, and one-off builds. If you enjoy being around beautiful machines, hearing them start up, and learning what makes each car special, this is a uniquely engaging place to work. You’ll gain exposure to the inner workings of the collector car market while working closely with a small, passionate team.
Role Summary
We’re looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Operations & Sales Assistant to help keep the business running smoothly day-to-day and decreasing our time to get cars on the market. This is a hands-on, fast-moving role that supports both operations and sales.
You’ll be responsible for a wide range of tasks including photographing and listing cars, organizing documents, assisting with showroom presentation, coordinating with vendors, and supporting the sales team however needed. No two days are the same, and the role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, takes initiative, and wants to be part of a niche, enthusiast-driven business.
Key Responsibilities
- Photograph vehicles, edit images, and upload listings
- Research and document vehicle history and details
- Submit vehicle information to online marketplaces
- Assist with website updates and listing changes
- Record iPhone videos for sales team while driving or showcasing cars
- Manage incoming calls, texts, and emails as needed
- Follow up with vendors and coordinate services
- Organize and file documents (physical and digital)
- Support showroom presentation: light cleaning, stocking, and prep for client visits/events
- Run errands (shipping documents, picking up supplies, fuel, or parts)
- Provide general support and task execution for the sales team
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable multitasking and switching between different types of work
- Clear communicator (phone, text, and email)
- Basic tech proficiency (iPhone, Google Drive, email, simple website updates)
- Self-starter with a proactive mindset
- Ability to follow direction and execute tasks efficiently
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand for at least 30 minutes and get up and down from floor level
- Comfortable being on your feet and walking 5,000–10,000 steps per day. We move a lot!
- Willingness to work around grease, oil, car fluids, and exhaust. We are moving and driving cars in our showroom constantly
Nice to Have
- Interest in or knowledge of classic and collector cars
- Familiarity with online marketplaces (Bring a Trailer, eBay Motors, etc.)
- Experience in a dealership, garage, or hands-on environment
Compensation & Schedule
- Pay: $18–$22/hour (depending on experience)
- Schedule: Part-time, ~20 hours per week
- Typical Hours: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM (flexibility required based on workload and business needs)
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
