Position Summary
We are currently seeking a skilled and caring Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)/Medical Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in outpatient care, a passion for patient wellness, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical setting focused on allergy and asthma management. Experience in allergy and asthma is a bonus but not required. Full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Rooming patients, reviewing medications and taking vitals
- Administering allergy shots and biologic injections
- Performing spirometry and other pulmonary function tests
- Assisting with skin testing and other diagnostic procedures
- Educating patients on medication use, allergen avoidance, and asthma action plans
- Accurately documenting in patient’s chart
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment
- Supporting physicians and other clinical staff as needed
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
