The Grand Rehabilitation and Nursing at Barnwell, is a 236-bed facility located in beautiful Valatie, NY. We offer long-term care and rehabilitation with a resident-centered approach focused on comfort, safety, and independence.
CNA Position Summary:
CNAs provide hands-on care and emotional support to residents, assist nursing staff, and help maintain a safe, comfortable environment.
Primary CNA Responsibilities:
Assist with personal hygiene, grooming, and daily living activities
Provide hands-on care and emotional support
Assist with meals and feeding; track nutritional intake
Report changes in residents' conditions to the nursing team
Escort residents safely throughout the facility
Help maintain a clean, safe environment
Support nursing staff with resident-centered care
CNA Qualifications:
Completion of a state-approved CNA training program
Active CNA certification in good standing with NY State
Team-oriented, compassionate, and resident-focused
Meets Department of Health regulatory standards
