What You'll Do
As an Installation Technician, you'll be responsible for delivering, assembling, and installing commercial office furniture while representing BFS Installs professionally at every jobsite.
Responsibilities include:
- Drive company box trucks safely while following all DOT regulations and company policies.
- Deliver, unload, stage, assemble, and install commercial office furniture, casegoods, workstations, seating, conference rooms, and wall systems.
- Read floor plans, installation drawings, and manufacturer instructions.
- Communicate with the Core Team, Project Managers, and Lead Installers throughout the day.
- Load and unload trucks while protecting customer products and company equipment.
- Maintain organized job sites and complete projects safely, efficiently, and with attention to detail.
- Complete delivery paperwork, project documentation, photos, and customer sign offs using company technology.
- Assist with warehouse receiving, staging, inventory organization, and truck loading when needed.
- Help identify and resolve jobsite issues while maintaining a positive attitude and professional appearance.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for individuals who are dependable, coachable, and take ownership of their work.
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Current DOT Medical Card or ability to obtain one before driving company vehicles.
- Experience driving 16 to 26 foot box trucks preferred.
- Commercial furniture installation, construction, cabinetry, finish carpentry, warehouse, or related experience preferred.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and move products weighing up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Comfortable using smartphones and technology for scheduling, communication, project updates, photos, and documentation.
- Must pass a background check.
Required Tools and PPE
Employees are expected to provide and maintain a basic professional tool kit, including a cordless drill, drill bits, tape measure, box knife, level, Allen key set, screwdrivers, pliers, pry bar, and work gloves.
Steel toe boots or shoes are required. Employees must wear tan, gray, or black work pants with a belt. If a hat is worn, it must be solid black with no logos.

Monday through Friday
Day Shift
Overtime available
Regional travel and occasional overnight travel required.
Pay and Benefits
- $18.50 to $27.50 per hour based on experience and qualifications.
- Performance review after 90 days with advancement opportunities.
