What You’ll Do:

Implement treatment plans developed by supervising therapists

Provide quality therapy services to pediatric clients while supporting their developmental and functional goals

Document client progress, treatment outcomes, and billing information in accordance with program and regulatory requirements

Utilize Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and related systems, including Office 365, Teams, and Outlook

Collaborate with families, caregivers, therapists, and other professionals to ensure coordinated care

Assist with managing therapy equipment, including recommendations, ordering, and education for families and staff

Maintain a safe, clean, and organized therapy environment

Support clients across various Easterseals programs as needed

Protect client confidentiality and comply with all privacy and HIPAA requirements

Demonstrate professionalism, flexibility, teamwork, and a commitment to continuous learning
What You Bring
-
Associate’s degree from a physical therapist assistant program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE)
-
Current Florida Physical Therapy assistant (PTA) License
-
National Provider Identifier (NPI) preferred
-
Pediatric experience... we will train! Mentorship provided

Proficiency with basic computer applications and Electronic Medical Records (EMR)

Knowledge of therapy-related equipment and safety procedures

Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills

Integrity, tact, and sound judgement

Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, lift and carry children weighing up to 50 pounds

Ability to meet our approved driver qualifications in order to drive our vehicles, as required, to drive and transport passengers for program-related needs (minimum age of 21 and good driving history)
