Job Function & Responsibilities

Enter, clean and reconcile financial data in Excel, accounting systems and internal databases.

Build and maintain spreadsheets using formulas, pivot tables, lookups and basic macros to reduce manual work.

Assist with bank and balance sheet reconciliations, AP processing, contract and schedule updates and recurring monthly close tasks.

Produce standard financial reports and organize audit support (download data, compile workpapers, label files.)

Help document workflows and prototype simple automations (templates, macros, excel formulas)

Knowledge of AI tools a plus

This is a paid internship

The applicant will have the opportunity to work at least 15 hours, but no more than 30 hours per week

Education

Completion of a minimum 1.5 years’ coursework from a 4-year university

Working towards a bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, accounting information systems, or finance
