United Scripts LTC, LLC is a closed-door pharmacy servicing Long Term Care Facilities. We are currently seeking qualified pharmacy technicians for the following:
Position Summary: As a Pharmacy Production Technician, your responsibilities revolve around fulfilling patient prescriptions into compliance packaging. You must be detail-oriented to keep prescription information accurate for patient safety. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, be dependable, have strong organizational skills, be adaptable, and have the ability to work well with a team as well as possess the tolerance for working in a high-pressure environment. Must be able to work a rotating schedule including one closing shift per week, and weekend shifts every third weekend.
Essential Duties include the following:
Reviews, interprets, and processes data with a high degree of accuracy and detail
Assists in the preparation of medication orders, to include workflow management, basic preparation & dispensing, and non-sterile compounding.
Interprets and fulfills prescription orders accurately for pharmacist approval
This position is a safety-sensitive position. The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is an essential function of this job.
Generates, receives, and maintains confidential and sensitive documentation, files, information, and reports to ensure the security of files and data
Quickly and accurately interprets prescription data with little to no errors
Reports to pharmacy technician supervisor, under the direct supervision of a pharmacist
Works closely with others within the team
Performs other duties and tasks as assigned
Qualifications, Education and/or Experience:
High school diploma or GED
1+ year Pharmacy Tech experience (preferred)
Pharmacy Technician License (preferred)
Exemplary attention to detail
Strong time management and organizational skills with ability to prioritize tasks as needed
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
Ability to retain information such as words, numbers, and procedures
Teamwork mindset with strong interpersonal skills
Job Type: Full-time position, scheduled for 5 days, 40 hours per week. This role includes one closing shift per week and participation in a rotating schedule that requires working every third weekend.
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
