Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Medical Supply Delivery and Installation Technician to join our team that. This role involves delivering medical equipment and supplies to healthcare facilities and residences, ensuring proper installation, and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have experience in delivery driving, warehouse operations, and equipment handling, with a focus on safety and efficiency. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where attention to detail and professionalism are essential.
Duties
- Safely operate commercial vehicles for route deliveries of medical supplies and equipment.
- Load and unload supplies using manual handling methods.
- Deliver products to designated locations, ensuring timely and accurate service.
- Install medical equipment according to manufacturer specifications and client needs.
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting clients with product setup and answering questions.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, documentation, and inventory records.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues.
- Follow all safety protocols during transportation, loading, unloading, and installation processes.
Requirements
- MUST BE ABLE TO ANSWER/DELIVER EMERGENCY AFTER HOUR DELIVERIES AND ON WEEKENDS IF NEED BE. IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO DUE TO PERSONAL REASONS, ETC, DO NOT APPLY.
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, preferably with route driving experience involving box trucks or similar vehicles.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; commercial driver’s license (CDL).
- Ability to lift heavy loads safely; physical strength and stamina required for moving equipment and supplies(some deliveries require assembly of a hospital bed in a 2-3 story building).
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Prior warehouse experience is beneficial for handling inventory efficiently.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to safety standards. This role is vital in ensuring that healthcare providers and patients receive essential medical supplies promptly and professionally while maintaining high standards of safety and customer satisfaction.
