The City of Murphy Police Department seeks to add a Police Officer to its dynamic team! As a Police Officer, you will provide crime prevention and law enforcement services for the City through proactive patrol, preliminary investigations, and traffic control duties in a designated area or assignment during duty hours.
New officers who are not yet licensed and need to attend a Basic Peace Officer Course will start their employment with the City of Murphy as near as practical to the start date of the Basic Peace Officer Course start date.
Schedule Commitment
MUST accept on-call duty status and call-out status and work flexible hours to include all shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
