GMAW (MIG) Welder
We are seeking a skilled GMAW (MIG) Welder to join our team. This position involves welding structural components and pressure vessels in accordance with ASME codes, and company quality standards. The ideal candidate will have experience working with carbon steel and/or stainless steel and be capable of producing high-quality welds in a fabrication environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform GMAW (MIG) welding on structural steel and pressure vessel components
- Follow Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS)
- Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and fabrication drawings
- Set up and operate MIG welding equipment
- Prepare materials by cutting, grinding, cleaning, and fitting parts
- Perform fit-up and alignment of components prior to welding
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment and follow all shop safety procedures
Requirements
- Experience with GMAW / MIG welding
- Experience welding carbon steel and/or stainless steel
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and welding symbols
- Experience with fit-up, fabrication, and joint preparation
- Ability to use grinders and finishing tools for weld preparation and cleanup
- Ability to pass a practical weld test during the hiring process
- Experience with structural steel and/or pressure vessel fabrication preferred
Additional Experience
- Experience with GTAW / TIG welding
- Experience welding carbon steel and/or stainless steel
- Experience with fit-up and fabrication of various materials

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per year
