Position Overview:
We are currently seeking passionate and dedicated Lead Teachers and Assistant Teachers for our 3K classroom. Ideal candidates will have a love for working with young children, strong communication skills, and a commitment to early childhood education.
Lead Teacher Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with early childhood standards
- Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment
- Support children’s social, emotional, and cognitive development
- Conduct ongoing assessments and maintain student records
- Communicate effectively with families and staff
- Supervise and support assistant teachers
Assistant Teacher Responsibilities:
- Support the lead teacher in daily classroom activities
- Help prepare materials and maintain a clean, organized environment
- Assist with classroom management and student supervision
- Provide support for children’s learning and development
- Communicate with team members and families as needed
Qualifications:
Lead Teacher:
- Bachelor’s degree or Master's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (required or in progress, based on state requirements)
- Teaching certification (preferred)
- Prior classroom experience in early childhood settings
- Study plan towards Early Childhood degree will be considered
Assistant Teacher:
- High school diploma required; Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
- Experience working with young children is a plus
Job Types: Part-time, Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
