Reed City High School is seeking a dedicated and passionate Science Teacher to join our Coyote family. We are looking for an educator who will bring our mission to life: providing a diverse education with equitable opportunities in a supportive environment. We are looking for an educator who enjoys working with high school students, values strong relationships, and creates a classroom where students feel challenged, supported, and inspired to succeed.
Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university

Must be qualified and hold a valid Michigan Teacher Certificate with appropriate Science (DI)/(DX)endorsement, an additional endorsement in Math (EX)/(EQ), preferred.
Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver instruction using evidence-based instructional strategies and district curriculum

Create and maintain a collaborative classroom environment

Capacity to align curriculum, instruction, and assessments while responding to the individual needs of students

Assess and evaluate student growth through varied formative and summative methods, utilizing data to guide instruction, differentiate support, and celebrate student success.

Actively participate in RCAPS professional development to enhance teaching practices and stay current with best practices in instruction

Maintain reliable and consistent attendance
