Position Overview
Dr. Clean Laundry is seeking a welcoming, dynamic, reliable, hands-on, and collaborative Team Lead to support and lead day-to-day laundromat operations, assist team members, and deliver an exceptional customer experience. This role serves as a key partner to the company’s CEO and is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys working with customers, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
What You’ll Do
- Oversee daily laundromat operations to ensure machines, facility, and workflow run smoothly
- Supervise, schedule, and support team members, providing guidance and on-the-job training
- Deliver excellent customer service and assist customers with machines, payment systems, and services
- Build strong relationships with customers and help create a loyal, returning customer base
- Support and oversee wash-dry-fold (WDF) services to ensure quality, accuracy, and timely completion
- Process WDF orders, including sorting, washing, drying, folding, and packaging laundry in accordance with the company’s SOP
- Ensure timely completion of all periodical cleaning tasks in accordance with the company’s SOP
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for customers and staff
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate supply needs
- Handle basic cash responsibilities, including transactions and reconciliation
- Address customer concerns and resolve issues promptly and professionally
- Identify opportunities to improve operations, customer experience, and overall business performance
What We’re Looking For
- Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in laundromat, customer service, retail, or hospitality preferred
- Clear communication, strong leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Reliable, dependable, punctual, detail-oriented, and able to take initiative
- Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of responsibilities
- Positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively with a team
- Friendly, customer-focused attitude
- Basic math skills for handling transactions
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus, but not required
