Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handy Man to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set, capable of handling various maintenance and repair tasks. This role is essential for ensuring that properties are well-maintained and functional, providing a safe and comfortable environment for occupants.
Duties
- Perform general repairs and maintenance tasks in residential and commercial properties.
- Utilize tools and equipment effectively to complete tasks, including the use of an ohmmeter for electrical work.
- Address plumbing issues such as leaky faucets, clogged drains, and toilet repairs.
- Conduct minor carpentry work including repairing doors, windows, and furniture.
- Assist with painting and drywall repairs to enhance the aesthetic appeal of spaces.
- Respond promptly to service requests and perform work efficiently to meet deadlines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring tools are stored properly after use.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide excellent customer service.
Experience
- Proven experience in general maintenance or maintenance person services is preferred.
- Familiarity with using an ohmmeter and other electrical testing tools is highly desirable.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot various issues independently.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility in approach.
- A valid driver's license may be required for travel between job sites.
