Duties
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems.
- Provide detailed menu information and make recommendations to enhance the dining experience through upselling techniques.
- Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to guests while maintaining high standards of presentation.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal and address any concerns promptly.
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate food preparation and adherence to food safety standards.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change as needed.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, specials, and wine pairings to provide informed recommendations to guests.
- Uphold sanitation standards in accordance with health regulations.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant roles is preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and processing payments accurately.
- Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation is beneficial.
- Understanding of food safety practices and sanitation regulations is essential.
