About the Role
As a Plant Maintenance Technician, you will serve as a vital member of our technical team, ensuring the reliability and peak performance of our high-speed production lines. You will utilize your expertise in mechanical troubleshooting and system optimization to minimize downtime and drive operational excellence across our facility.
Responsibilities-
Execute comprehensive preventive maintenance programs to enhance equipment longevity and reduce unscheduled interruptions.

Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical and electrical issues on production machinery, including conveyors, gearboxes, and servo-driven systems.

Perform precise equipment changeovers and startups to ensure seamless production transitions and adherence to quality standards.

Maintain accurate documentation of all repairs, parts usage, and maintenance activities within our digital work order system.

Support facility utility infrastructure, including steam boilers, chillers, and HVAC systems, to ensure a stable manufacturing environment.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives that boost overall equipment effectiveness.

Adhere strictly to safety protocols, including LOTO, GMPs, and OSHA standards, to foster a secure and compliant workplace.
Qualifications-
3+ years of experience in industrial equipment maintenance or equivalent technical training.

Strong mechanical aptitude with proficiency in repairing bearings, seals, gaskets, and power transmission components.

Ability to interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and equipment manuals to guide repair processes.

Basic computer literacy for data entry and work order management.

Proven ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.

Physical capability to lift up to 70 lbs and perform tasks involving climbing, stooping, and working in varied environmental conditions.

Prior experience in a food or beverage manufacturing environment.

Technical certification or hands-on experience with boilers, hydraulics, or compressed air systems.

Familiarity with wet chemistry water testing and data recording procedures.

Experience with lean manufacturing tools and process capability analysis.
