About This Job
As an X-Ray Tech, you play a vital role in patient diagnosis and care. You capture high-quality diagnostic images that directly inform treatment plans and improve patient outcomes. You work with precision and compassion, ensuring every patient receives excellent care while maintaining the highest standards of safety. - Performs diagnostic X-ray imaging procedures with accuracy and efficiency, capturing clear and detailed images.

Ensures strict adherence to Radiation Safety protocols, protecting both patients and staff from unnecessary exposure.

Positions patients correctly and comfortably for various X-ray Imaging procedures, optimizing image quality and patient experience.

Acquires and processes Digital Radiography (DR) images, utilizing advanced technology to produce high-resolution diagnostic studies.

Manages and archives images within the PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System), ensuring data integrity and accessibility.

Provides exceptional Patient Care, explaining procedures clearly, addressing concerns, and maintaining a supportive environment.

Applies comprehensive knowledge of Anatomy and Physiology to accurately target imaging areas and interpret technical requirements.

Utilizes Medical Terminology effectively for documentation and communication with healthcare professionals.

Maintains and troubleshoots imaging equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.

Collaborates with physicians and other healthcare team members to facilitate timely and accurate diagnoses.
- Completes an accredited program in Radiologic Technology.

Holds current certification as a Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT).
- Demonstrates proficiency in performing a wide range of Radiography procedures.

Possesses practical experience in Image Acquisition and processing.
- Possesses strong knowledge of X-ray Imaging principles and techniques.

Applies comprehensive understanding of Radiation Safety regulations and best practices.

Excels in Patient Positioning for various anatomical studies.

Proficiently operates and navigates PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System).

Skilled in utilizing Digital Radiography (DR) equipment and software.

- Possesses one or more years of experience in an acute care hospital setting.
