Your Happy Place is growing, and we're looking for an upbeat, dependable and fashion-loving Assistant Store Manager to help lead our new Happy Place Consignment location in Clemmons!
Our consignment shop will offer a carefully curated mix of premium resale clothing, shoes, handbags, jewelry and accessories — along with the colorful, welcoming Happy Place atmosphere our customers already know and love.
We're looking for someone who isn't afraid to take ownership, stay organized, make decisions and jump in when needed.
What You'll Do
- Assist with day-to-day store operations and help oversee the store.
- Provide friendly, genuine customer service and create a welcoming shopping experience.
- Help customers with purchases, styling and product questions.
- Assist with accepting and processing consignment merchandise.
- Evaluate items based on condition, style, season, brand and resale potential.
- Enter and manage inventory using our consignment software.
- Price, tag, steam and merchandise incoming items.
- Keep racks and displays organized, inspiring and easy to shop.
- Operate the POS system and handle cash accurately.
- Help open and close the store.
- Assist with training and supporting team members.
- Communicate with consignors and customers professionally.
- Help with social media, new arrivals and store promotions when needed.

Retail, boutique or consignment experience is required for this position.
What Makes This Job Different
This isn't a big-box retail management position.
You'll be helping us launch and grow a brand-new consignment concept and will have the opportunity to play an important role in shaping how the store looks, feels and operates.
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
