The ideal candidate will be someone that can read a blueprint/diagram of the item, work with small parts, tiny screws, wiring and assemble the items correctly and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Assemble electronic components following detailed blueprints and schematics.
- Use hand tools, small power tools, to assemble small devices/electronic accessories.
- Conduct quality inspections during assembly to verify conformance with blueprint specifications and measuring tools
- Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot mechanical components and improve assembly processes.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols related to machining, soldering, and electrical wiring.
- Document assembly procedures and inspection results accurately for quality assurance purposes.
- Must work well among a team in a close & quiet atmosphere
Qualifications
- You must live within a 10 mile radius of zip code 30071
- Proven experience in electronics assembly or wiring
- Strong ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, or drawings.
- Proficiency with small hand tools, power tools, soldering equipment, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic instruments.
- Knowledge of IPC 610 standards for electronic assemblies is highly desirable.
- Ability to follow blueprint specifications precisely while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Experience with basic mechanical or electronic assembly
- Excellent troubleshooting skills combined with a proactive approach to problem-solving within manufacturing environments.
- Must have reliable transportation, pass a drug screen and criminal background screening
Work Hours: 7am-3:30pm Monday-Friday
Pay: $20/hr. Temp to hire (paid weekly)
